To be a catalyst for educational transformation in Dharmapuri by nurturing skilled, dynamic, and compassionate educators. DIET Dharmapuri envisions a future where every student in the district, irrespective of their socio-economic background, has access to excellent and equitable education, guided by well-trained teachers and educational leaders who are dedicated to lifelong learning and holistic development.
Mission
- To provide academic and resource support to the Elementary, Secondary, Higher Secondary, Adult and Non-Formal Educational sectors for the continuous quality improvement.
- To strengthen linkages among SCERT, DIETs, BRCs, CRCs and schools.
- To serve as an Education Resource Centre for the district in conjunction with BRCs.
- To organize and support teacher professional development and leadership development programs for Head Masters, teachers and School Management Committees.
- To develop district academic plans and monitoring the quality of teaching in schools.
- To prepare relevant teaching learning materials and Educational Technology to the Schools.
- To develop curriculum materials and evaluation items for the learner’s achievement
- To conduct district specific research and Action Research for the betterment of students and teachers.
